Residential Christmas Lights

Our Christmas and Holiday light installers commonly set displays up on homes, structures, trees and landscape features for holidays such as 4th of July, Halloween, Diwali, Christmas and more. We also provide design, rental, maintenance, removal and storage services and even installation of other seasonal decorations.

We'll install commercial grade lights, custom cut and fitted for perfection on your home.  Our LED lights require minimal electricity, and we cover any maintenance on them so it's one less thing you have to worry about.

We also offer greenery like garland and wreaths, mini LED bulbs for trees & shrubs, and even specialty lighting decor for added festivity. 

The cost of installing holiday lights for Christmas, Halloween, etc., varies depending on the size, design and complexity of your installation. Our prices start at $800 for custom Christmas and holiday lighting services designed, installed, taken down, and stored. Our installations typically range from October through mid-December.

Our small crew can install most holiday light displays in just a few hours, and usually less than a day. Larger or more elaborate displays may require a bigger team or take several days to complete.

You can tip your Christmas light installers 10% to 20% of the project price. Installers don’t expect a tip, though it’s always appreciated. After all, hiring someone to put up your Christmas lights frees up more of your time to make this holiday even more magical.

Our premium installation packages always include maintenance on your Christmas light bulbs.  If a bulb goes out, we'll be there to fix it immediately.  When we say we don't want you to have to worry about your lights, we mean it!  Our workmanship with our light installation is held to the same standards as the rest of our service, and they're very high.

No!  Not unless we're doing a permanent installation, and even then it will be done with the care & expertise we're known for as remodelers.  Otherwise, our Christmas light installations are all done using non-invasive methods.  No nails, permanent adhesives, screws, or staples will be used in the process.

Nope! We use high-quality, commercial-grade lights and materials that we supply as part of the service—no store runs required.  The lights belong to us, and so we're responsible for purchasing the highest quality materials and storing them properly, ensuring a safe and reliable display.

Absolutely! We work with you to understand your vision (or help you create one if we're starting from scratch!) and then we'll make suggestions and offer designs based on our consultation.  Our unique proposals allow you to pick and choose your options to create a truly custom package.  And because your lights are custom-cut for your home, we can make the bulbs whatever colors we want!  In addition to a classic warm white, we also have bulbs in every color and will suggest some holiday-specific patterns if you'd like.

Of course!  We're a Class A licensed builder in Virginia--the highest classification we can have.  We're also fully insured for roof, ladder, and Christmas light work--something many providers in our area do not have because it's an additional endorsement for standard policies.  Definitely ask to make sure!

For most homes, we are able to get all of your lights on one single plug.  We're able to customize the lights and wiring as we're custom-cutting them, and we try to make it as easy and seamless as possible.  They're even hooked up to a digital timer that we can set to your preferences so that it's truly no hassle!

Not at all.  We'll ask that you simply make sure the driveway is clear so that our van can fit and we can setup ladders without the worry of damaging your vehicles.  Otherwise, we actually kind of love the excitement our clients get when they come home from work to a beautifully lit home!

During the season, we're kind of obsessed with our weather apps; we monitor them almost hourly.  If weather delays your installation, it's because we feared for the safety of our crews and we're sure you understand!  If that's the case, you'll be bumped to next in line unless you'd like to completely reschedule.

Once they're up, they're weather resistent and you don't have to worry about them.  They're stronger than you'd think!

Of course!  We can decorate trees, shrubs, fences, railings, and just about anything else you’d like to sparkle.

Tree pricing is based on two factors: how many strands of lights we'll need, and how long it will take to install the lights and take them down.  The pricing will also depend on what kind of lighting you'd like.  We can talk about these things in your consultation.

We offer a 3-year contract option for those who would like a discount.  Otherwise, you are contracted once we receive the deposit and it is only for that year's service.  We do offer repeat client incentives but there is no obligation to go with us again (but we hope you'd want to!).
